Mardi Himal is popular among medium grade trekkers who wanted to experience mountain, nature and culture of Himalaya same time . Even if there are lots of hype and attention on Mardi Himal Trekking, tranquility is guaranteed. It is still one of the off the beaten trekking trails of Nepal.
Journey of Mardi Himal Trek starts from Pokhara. It follows the Kande Australian Camp Route. Green lush forests and mystical overnight camping (now there are numerous teahouses for proper lodging) place endow the “into the nature” feeling.
Places like Forests Camp, Low Camp and High Camp must be trekked in order to reach the Upper View Point. The most beautiful thing about the Mardi Himal Trekking is the scenery of Annapurna Base Camp. From the upper view point trekkers can get the magnificent scenery of base camp of world’s 10th tallest mountain Mt. Annapurna.
To people who couldn’t reach the Annapurna Base Camp should try Mardi Trekking. It is very scenic as well as endow the best chance to behold the base camp of Annapurna. The best season for this trekking in Nepal is during spring season. The blooming rhododendron and the clear sky make the trip obstacles free. Though trekkers can trek throughout the year in this trail.
During winter season the trail is covered by the snow. It makes the natural stage for the artists to either paint or click the best pictures. No wonder the place is very famous among Nepalese hikers and for some foreigners as the photographer’s paradise.
