**Langtang Ganja La Pass Trekking Itinerary:**
*Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu*
Arrive in Kathmandu and meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, go for a sightseeing tour of Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Overnight at the hotel.
*Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing*
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley at 9 AM. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The afternoon includes a final trek briefing and preparations. Overnight at the hotel with breakfast included.
*Day 3: Drive to Syabru Besi*
Embark on an 8-hour scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi by bus or Land Cruiser, depending on the group size. The journey takes you through picturesque foothills, ridgeline vistas, and the bank of Trishuli River, offering glimpses of Ganesh Himal and green hills. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 4: Trek to Lama Hotel*
Trek to Lama Hotel (2500 meters) for about 5 hours. The trail crosses Bhote Koshi and follows the Langtang Khola. You’ll pass through Bamboo and Rimche before reaching Lama Hotel. Look out for red pandas, monkeys, and bears along the route. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 5: Trek to Langtang Village*
Continue your 5-hour trek to Langtang Village (3307 meters). The trail goes through Gumanechok and Ghoda Tabela, providing beautiful valley views with grazing Yaks. Langtang Village offers spectacular views as you get closer to the mountains. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 6: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa*
Today, trek for 4 hours to Kyanjin Gompa (3798 meters). The route passes by the famous Cheese Factory and offers a breathtaking view of Langtang Lirung and other peaks. Explore the valley and surrounding peaks. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa Exploration*
Rest day for acclimatization and exploration. Visit the monastery, cheese factory, hike up the moraine for stunning views, or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350 meters) for panoramic Langtang peak views. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 8: Trek to Ngegang*
Trek to Ngegang (4000 meters). The trail goes uphill, and there are no villages on this route. Since there are no lodges available, overnight at tented camp.
*Day 9: Trek to Keldang via Ganja La Pass*
Today, you’ll have a comparatively strenuous trek of around 6 hours, crossing the Ganja La Pass at an altitude of 5200 meters. The pass is usually snowy and icy throughout the year. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 10: Trek to Dukpu*
Trek for about 6.5 hours along the ridge and grassland with amazing mountain views. Camp in the forest. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 11: Trek to Tarkeghyang*
Descend about 200 meters, climb a 4100 meters pass, and then continue trekking for about 5.5 hours to reach Tarkeghyang. Enjoy the beautiful forests and visit ancient monasteries. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 12: Trek to Shermathang*
A pleasant day of walking through flat land with beautiful forests. Trek for about 5.5 hours to reach Shermathang. Explore Sherpa villages and ancient monasteries. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 13: Trek to Melamchi Pul Bazaar*
Gradually descend all the way to Melamchi Pul Bazaar (846 meters) through meadows and cultivated fields. Enjoy mountain views and interact with friendly locals. Overnight at tented camp.
*Day 14: Drive to Kathmandu*
After breakfast, drive for about 4 hours to Kathmandu. Check-in at the hotel and have the rest of the day free. Overnight at the hotel.
*Day 15: Leisure Day in Kathmandu*
An extra day in Kathmandu for relaxation and shopping. If interested, you can continue with other tours like Chitwan Jungle Safari or River Rafting Adventure.
*Day 16: Departure*
Our Airport Representative will drop you at Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal. The trip concludes here.
