Kumroj Village Tour
Kumroj is dedicated to protect the wild animals,community forest and chitwan national park. Physical Features-Tharu is a main habitat and tribe in this kumroj. When malaria is affected several peoples migrating from the different part of country which is increased day by day.The importance of kumroj is low land and plain flooded land.Nowadays kumroj is multicultural village where various tribe and people live together and struggling to make their destiny.
Day 1:
Arrival day in Kathmandu [1,300m/4,264 ft]
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. After checking in and freshening up, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant streets of Kathmandu. Visit some of the iconic landmarks like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), or Boudhanath Stupa. In the evening, you will have a pre-trip briefing where you’ll meet your tour guide and fellow travelers. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2:
Drive to Kumroj village (6 Hours Drive). Overnight at Forest Machan.
After breakfast in Kathmandu, we will begin our journey towards Kumroj village. The drive takes about 6 hours and offers stunning views of the countryside and the Himalayas. Kumroj village is located in the Chitwan district and is famous for its serene surroundings and rich Tharu culture. Upon reaching Kumroj, you will check in to your Forest Machan accommodation, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquil ambiance of the forest. In the evening, you can take a leisurely walk around the village or simply unwind amidst nature. Overnight stay at Forest Machan.
Day 3:
Bicycle Tour of Rana Tharu Village, Jungle Tour, Lunch at the village.
Wake up to the sounds of nature and have breakfast at the Forest Machan. Today, you will explore the Rana Tharu Village on a bicycle tour. The Tharu people are an indigenous group with a unique and fascinating culture. During the bicycle tour, you will get a glimpse into their lifestyle, traditions, and hospitality. After the village tour, you will embark on an exciting jungle tour in the nearby national park. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings, including deer, monkeys, and various bird species.
In the afternoon, you will have a traditional lunch at the village, where you can savor authentic local delicacies. Afterward, you have the option to participate in additional jungle activities or simply relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Overnight stay at Forest Machan.
Day 4:
Back to Kathmandu or Pokhara or move to Sauraha for more wildlife activities.
After breakfast at the Forest Machan, you have the flexibility to decide on your next destination. You can choose to return to Kathmandu or head to Pokhara. Alternatively, if you are eager for more wildlife experiences, you can move to Sauraha, another popular destination in Chitwan known for its wildlife activities.
If you choose to return to Kathmandu or Pokhara, our representative will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. You can spend the remaining time exploring the city’s attractions, shopping for souvenirs, or relaxing at your hotel.
If you opt for Sauraha, you can indulge in various activities like elephant safari, canoeing, bird-watching, or visiting the Elephant Breeding Center.
Regardless of your decision, your adventure-filled trip to Kumroj and its surroundings comes to an end today. You will have created lasting memories and experienced the beauty of Nepal’s culture and nature. Overnight stay in Kathmandu or Pokhara or Sauraha (depending on your choice).
