Dudhkunda Cultural Trail Trek
Day 1:Arrival at Kathmandu Airport
Arrival at Kathmandu Airport. You will be met by our Airport Representative and transferred to the hotel by a private tourist vehicle. Overnight at the hotel with breakfast included.
Day 1:Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.

Your sightseeing trip will start at 9 AM in the morning after breakfast. We will provide a private vehicle and a professional tour guide. We visit Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath (Monkey temple), Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The afternoon includes a final briefing and preparations for the trek. Overnight at the hotel with breakfast included.
Day 2:Drive to Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara (900 meters) 7 hours by tourist bus.
Trekking staff will come to your hotel early in the morning at 6:30 AM to pick you up. We will leave around 7:30 AM for Pokhara. Overnight at the hotel with breakfast included.
Day 3:Drive to Nayapul and trek to Dhampus
Drive to Nayapul and trek to Dhampus. Overnight in the camp.
Day 4: stunning view of Machhapuchhare
We wake up to the stunning view of Machhapuchhare (23,000 ft/6993 m) and the Annapurna Mountain ranges. Today we start following “Our Private Trail” leaving other tourists behind. We won’t be seeing any tourists for the next 6 days. The trail leads us uphill through a beautiful forest of birch, rhododendrons, hemlock, and pines. We camp in a small clearing far from the main trekking trails.
Day 5:We camp at 10,000 ft
This day we trek through the forest, climbing gradually. We have occasional views of Machhapuchhare and the Annapurna’s. We can see the Mardi Khola river winding its way through the valley thousands of feet below. We camp at 10,000 ft at “Low Camp,” from where we will have a good view of Machhapuchhare.
Day 6:A short climb
A short climb brings us out of the forest. The ridge will take us to our campsite at 12,000 ft. The sunset turns the hills and mountains of the Himalaya pink, then red, and finally purple before the stars take over, and we get ready for an early night.
Day 7:highest point of the trek up to 15,000/16,000 ft
Have an early breakfast, and we start trekking to reach our highest point of the trek, up to 15,000/16,000 ft if conditions are favorable. In the afternoon, we return to our camp. If the weather is clear, the view today will never be forgotten.
Day 8:passing the hillside village of Siding
After breakfast, we descend 7,000 ft mainly through the forest, bush, and terraced fields, passing the hillside village of Siding, down to Mardi Khola for a refreshing swim and scrub up near our camp.
Day 9:walk through the Mardi Khola valley
A beautiful walk through the Mardi Khola valley via quiet settlements and over an interesting section of bridges. We camp by the river near Mardi Pul.
Day 10:drive or fly back to Pokhara.
We drive or fly back to Pokhara. Hotel in Pokhara.
Day 11:Pokhara City tour
Pokhara City tour.
Your sightseeing trip will start at 9 AM in the morning after breakfast. Places we visit are Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Devi’s waterfall, Museum, Tibetan refugee settlement, and Gupteshwor cave. You will have a relaxing afternoon. Overnight at the hotel with breakfast included.
Day 12:Drive back to Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu (1345 meters).
Day 13:Transfer to the international airport
Transfer to the international airport for your final departure.
The trip ends, and our Airport Representative will drop you at the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
